Meeting True Love during VDAY

No words can do justice with the feelings I felt during Valentine's Day. Meeting true love in the face is a wonderful feeling and everyone deserves to feel it.

From eating lunch with Barbies at Mang Inasal despite the fact that we weren't all present, doesn't really matter because being loved by these girls doesn't need a day. Valentines Day for us is merely something to remind us of the love that we have for each other.

The best part of my VDay was when close guy friends Edward and Merrill from my red gate family did a Valentine surprise for the all the girls in the barkada. We were told to go up to the tree house eatery. We did some bleeding confession about our heart's desires and our heart's condition as of the moment. I was already crying and so was my other friends. When Edward told us to close our eyes, I knew that it was the moment they were going to give something to us. While closing my eyes I felt Merrill's hands giving me something and hugging me tightly whispering the words, "Thank You," in my ears and all I could do was say thank you back and cry.

When Edward said we could open our eyes, in my hands was a long stemmed rose and a big chocolate bar. Seeing everyone (including the boys) in tears just made everything perfect. I embraced each of the boys, Merrill, Edward and Rey, with all my heart.

It was then I realized that True Love doesn't have to be intimate. I know now that what they did for us was purely love. A way of saying "thank you," to the "ates," they have. All I could do was smile the whole time while tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I closed my eyes for awhile and thank the Lord and told myself, "I must have done something right to deserved men like these."

Love does exist in the world. I would also like to thank JM, the main culprit of the show. He was the financier :)

I thought that these kinds of things just happens in the movies, but no, they really do happen in real life. Someday, when they become "kuyas" themselves, I know they'll be great. I hope that I made an impact into these young men hearts'. I love them so much and I know that they love me too.

It was the most unforgettable Valentines Day for all of us. The simple rose with a note saying, "She has brown hair and I trust her," is worth more than any non-serious relationship we might probably experience. The rose they gave us would wither but the fond memory of that night will always be something I'll be happy to go back to.

I was on my "pambalay" and my eyes are obviously from tears, but these pictures shows the real face of true love. ^_^
